Burgess Auctions LLC is an auction warehouse located in historic Knightstown, Indiana. Before the pandemic Burgess Auctions conducted most of their business live onsite or in house. Zach Burgess, owner, quickly realized the need to switch how he operated to online only and kept his business thriving. Sierra Dream was hired as a product photographer to help build burgessauctions.com’s social media presence and online sales. This fast paced environment with little room to work in was a challenge but always offered a wide range of interesting products to work with. Sierra Dream photographed approximately 100-150 lots of various items a day, researched vintage and antique pieces for identification and cataloging, and used selected images of current auctions to create social media ads. Raintree Bar & Grill was located at the Raintree Hotel in New Castle, Indiana. (Note: this business is permanently closed since 2021) Sierra Dream was a manager of this establishment throughout 2019 while working on her visual communications degree. The Raintree logo design was created to resemble the iconic book cover of the famous novel turned movie, Raintree County, written by Ross Lockridge, Jr. Sierra Dream displayed this design on at least one of the social media ads and a simple trifold menu.
